Donjr Are you talking about something like a hernia in the naval? If so dad used to take an old corset sew a piece of plywood in about 8inches square that went under the naval. Reach in push the protrusion back in and leave this on for about 3weeks to a month or until it is healed. Never did a surgery on any calves. These were dairy calve though. You have to tie the corset around the back legs so it will stay in place. The corset would stretch so the calf could still breathe and grow just fine.
