I agree with what you guys are saying but the top shaft does not run on needle bearings on a 1650. I have had a few apart and most of them were because while plowing when they failed because there was not enough oil in the transmission for the lube pump to pick it up due to the right wheel running in thefurrow. By the way for your 550 hydraulic filter post I have a new filter with an Oliver part number that is a paper filter. I probably have had it on the shelf for 25 years. J..
