We are in the center of Noble Co. about 15 miles away from Morgan Co.
We had to bale some nice second cutting the other day too soon, in order to get it out from under the rain that night...and that was an education in saving tuff hay from molding in the mow...I have a few tricks up my sleeve for that..but it does involve extra work...and fans really help....main thing is to get that bale high and dry with air all around it, if the hay is cured down to 20% moisture when its baled they will keep but they can't be baled too tight. Then too we had the high humidity at the same time...pita.
