Ok. We have a New Idea 4 row planter. Model 7200. Baiscally the same as a John Deere 7000. It has JD bolts in it. Picture a white/gray JD 7000 planter.
Now, questions. Our planter is set up per the manual as a "no till planter" We are (due to wet spring) considering no tilling our corn this year. It will be planted into hay ground. We are chopping/baling the hay off first, spraying...and either disking it up or no tilling.
Thinking real hard on the no till, due to time. What cover wheels and openers are best for this? Brand and model would be greatly appreciated. Need to order parts ASAP!
