My brother has a early model 99 7.3, I have a 2000, he said his truck could never take off empty like my truck could loaded., so this winter he bought a beans diesel chip, or something. They build it for the computer in your truck. He said it really woke the 7.3 up, supposed to get better fuel mileage too! I don't know if ill get one or not but My question is does doing that have any effect on the engine as far as longevity goes. They usta say any performance gain is a reliability loss. Just wanted to see any opinions on using that type of thing. He did alot of research and this company seemed to be pretty good he thought.
