Threw the tailgate into the woods nearest the scene of the crime- I think my colorful language gave me added strength- and it is still lying there today, some 20 years later. Someday when Mrs. (WA) and I are gone and the kids have sold the place, the new owner will come across it and wonder what the story was on the crumpled '85 Ford tailgate. Actually, I hope the next guy has enough savvy to realize EXACTLY what happened to that tailgate. . .
