Not even. For instance if you have two tractors the same weight. One pulls 100 feet on a hard dry track where the sled slides on the dusty dirt. The next tractor weighing the same takes the sled to the only damp or heavy spot on the same track, but only goes 80 feet before stopping as the damp dirt has made the sled harder to move. Can the second tractor win this pull as it may be able to exert more pull on the chain because of better traction on the damper dirt?
