We use a common wt transfer sled.The further down the track,the more wt on the shoe.Say your 5000 lb tractor pulls 7500 lbs.Thats 150%.Our two clubs each use a different 'standard'.One,we go by the lbs on the shoe.The other,we measure the lbs pull on the chain.Very different results.Either way is fun.The second,We have an expencive electric sencer in the chain linked to a digital display.the system is similar to an electronic truck scale.Clear as mud?
