Dave, I understand how you feel, but you know the old saying, "Opinions are like A##ho##s, everyone has one and they are all a little different." So I just read their opinions and let it go. As has already been said, there is a lot of knowledge here. That and the pictures, the stories about how it used to be done, etc. is why I hang around. Many, if not most, farmers and collectors have a scrap area where most of it may be ready for the salvage yard, but it is just hard to part with it. Besides, if you get rid of it, you may need it next week.
