mkirsch- I'm one 'those' people. I can't stand the flavor of deer. Just got in a few minutes ago from riding the tractor while checking fences. Passed within 20 feet of a few deer and thought "Wow, I could even hit these with a pistol".
I love squirrel, rabbit, dove, quail, etc. H3ll. I've even eaten bobcat, coyote and beaver.
As for deer, I'll shoot'em, gut'em and process them. I've tried every way under the sun to get rid of that flavor to no avail. I wish I could find a way because I have an unlimited supply of venison.
