Believe those sensors only sense weight sitting in the seat, to tell the air bag to go off is someone is sitting in that seat when the sensors up front go off. Or else they sense a weight in the front seat to tell system to set off the seatbelt alarm if some one is sitting there and not buckled in. Probably not a problem as far as the airbag system is coincerned.
