Just a thought,maybe he knows something about his trans being ????.I know in our area,I sure wouldn't want to have to work on one,all the dealers I know of are IH or CIH dealers and don't have anyone capable of even looking at one.My 970-8speed is pushing 200 or better,but it is used carefully even tho it wts.15000# and only burns 1/2-2/3 the fuel it did before doing the same job.
