Roy........freezer burn is the result of DEHYDRATION of the meat cells. This is a natural process of refrigeration and that is what/why there is FROST inside the freezer compartment, unless yours is a "frost-free" in which case the frost has been melted and leaked out a drain under yer freezer for the dust bunnys to lap-up. Just cook/fry as normal and SAUCE it. Grind up the meat and make sausage or meatloaf. It just looks "bad" but it is not unless you gotts some green fuzzys wondering around. I definitely would NOT feed it to the dogs unless SHMBO insists. ........Dell
