We were attending a trade show in New York a few years back. Coworker brought in his minivan loaded with a few key parts for our display, everything in one rolling box.
Got to the loading dock late, and really had to get our stuff unloaded fast and into the show which had already started.
BUT - you couldn't unload your own vehicle, because that was a union job.
Unfortunately, all the workers were on break. Sitting around swinging their feet. They wouldn't even talk to him. Just ignored him.
So he made the mistake of saying screw it - gotta get the parts in, so he pulled the rolling case out and rolled it into the convention hall.
By the time he got back to his minivan - all the side windows were smashed, and his suitcases were emptied out all over the parking lot.
