I have thought of that too. I would like to rent a box blade for 2 hours and then return it. But I dont want to spend $600 to buy it. I will only use it 1 time per year at the most. I could make my own, PITA however.
If I was you get in good with the farmer and maybe offer some money to use it for a while. A bunch of buddies of mine that all live within a 10 mile radius have all different rear 3 pt implements, but it is hard to transport the stuff.
