I've got XP Pro on two computers, Vista on one, and Windows 7 on two others. They all look pretty much the same so I assume it's all about the settings you choose.
One problem with Windows 7 is it will not run many older programs that worked fine with XP and Vista. Windows 7 Professional has a possible option of running older programs IF you've got special hardware on the motherboard. Windows Home Premium does not have that option.
