I keep a squeegie in my truck to clear the dew off the windows before I get on the road to work. Haven't had to do that more than a dozen times all spring and summer.
Surprise #1 - Went out this morning and had heavy dew on the truck.
Surprise #2 - Started the truck and turned on the defroster to keep the windshield clear. A yellow jacket wasp came out of the vent. Opened the door real quick and started to bail out, but the wasp flew out the door. Lucky for him. If he'd landed in a spot I could have got him, he would have died.
I have no mercy on wasps. I've been stung too many times without cause.
