I don"t have a fear of them, but I"m not staying in the truck with one unless I"ve got something to swat it with. If the wasp had not flown out on its own, I would have come up with something to assist it vacating my truck or it would have died.
I"ve been stung too many times for no reason. I no longer have any mercy for them. Even starting to carry a fly swatter in the truck at the farm.
Got stung two weeks ago on the upper arm. No reason, never even saw it land. Hurt for several hours. An area about 3 inches wide and 5 inches long turned red and puffed up slightly. Stayed red and puffy for about 4 days. Then would itch slightly every now and then. Place were it stung me is going to have a small scar.
