Picked up a makita drill, driver, and light set a couple years ago. 14.4 volt, prolly got a deal cause the batteries were already old (even tho they were new)... Anyway, FF and the batteries don't last long and the drill chuck is a real PITA (slips/comes apart). Was looking for a couple new batteries and ran across this 18 volt set with 2 batteries and a charger for less than the price of 2 batteries.....It's no wonder people throw stuff away and buy new....
Would you buy new makita batteries and new drill chuck, or just get the new set (replacement batteries are cheaper also)?
