Wife called the other day on the cell phone screaming and and said there was a big snake up on the Purple Martin house. When I got to the house I quess he got his belly full and come down. It was so full it could not travel very fast so I got him. It was a 58 inch long rat snake. That steel pipe about 12 feet in the air did not stop it from climbing. Don't usually kill snakes like that, but it got in my space. By the size, probably was not the first year it did this.
