You're not by yourself. I bought some rd bales of Brome from Missouri last Fall and the gentleman stated the bales would weigh between 1150-1200#s because he had a 1 yr old NH baler. Bales were 4X5-1/2 and actually averaged 920# 's each. Certified scales bring out the true weight.
