I also had a favorite uncle, my mom's twin brother. He too farmed with a Farmall H that his father, my grandfather, bought new in 1942 and that I now own. Such great memories of him, his philosphy and work ethic, and running grandpa's old H as a kid. There were so many guys that started farming with an H, or an Allis WC like another uncle, or an International 10-20 like my cousin, or an Allis B like my Dad. They were part of an era that won't be duplicated.
