Yeah Tony, I know what ya mean, but I am pretty happy about it....lol. And I don't want to be known as the guy with the burned up messes...In this town they don't think of me like they do up in Stephentown. Here I am the guy that cleans up the ugly houses and lots...I spend more on dump fees than the average that's for sure.
Wasn't like I am gonna get rich on it. No insurance and no more than $200 for the tin and junk. Copper was already stolen from the house and I picked up maybe 2 pounds the theives had missed. Yesterday I brought in one trailer of tin for $80, and I have another all loaded up ready to go in Monday morning.
What is wild is there is maybe 6 boards left between the two houses. Everything else has burned. I did discover all the bricks have shattered from the heat and are unusable for anything but driveway base.
I wish I had a way besides a sledge to break up all the concrete porch and sidewalk slabs. Now I have about 100 feet of sidewalk and three old style front porches to demo and dispose of. Any ideas?
