A couple weeks ago I was asking your opinions on a 90 motorhohme with a Ford 460. Someone suggested a newer one. I bought a 02 Jayco 26 ft. It cost a whole lot more, but may be a better choice in the long run. So I have a question on the transmission. The truck is a E450 Super Duty, with 37,000 mi. The fluid is not burnt, but has that used smell, and it is light brownish in color. I am fairly sure it hasen't been changed, Don't know for sure. So that is one of the first things I want to do. The owners manual isn't very clear to me on what type of fluid to use. It has two transmissions to choose,a 4R100 or a 4R70W. Each one uses a different fluid. Any thoughts on what trans my Ford has.
