Brand name alone does not tell you anything about the quality of the battery. The manufactures will build a battery to your specs and what you are willing to pay no matter who you are. So in theory the more you pay the better the battery. One reason mower batteries only carry a one year warranty is mowers often don't run fast enough to keep the battery charged. So more than one year is going to take some sort of charger.
