Seeking opinions if anyone knows. Engine in my 443B Bobcat is getting tired, and a D1005 is up for sale locally. Before I run an hour to look at it, is there any chance (physically) of this working out with relative ease. Relative to me would include welding new mounts, light machine work I can do on my 11" lathe, etc. I know the D750,850,950 were all the same series and easy, but they are getting aged and I can"t easily get one in AK, particularly for the money I can get this D1005 for. Plus another 5-10 hp would not come amiss in this little machine.
