I'm with you Pete,birds are to me what horses where to Will Rogers. When I interduced my son to the sport I told him bird hunting has very little in common with stuff in magizines about how many or how big you bring home. My son, grandsons and me will sometimes fail to fire as the birds get up. "Why didn't you shoot"? "I was watching the dogs and was disapointed when when they flew"or something to that effect might be the response. Try explaining that to someone who asks "how many did you kill today?"
