There are several models from Ford, GM, Chrysler built for outside Canada and U.S. that are not available here. In Brazil, there is a Dodge Durango Diesel for instance. The diesel pickups are on 3/4 ton and up, not 1 Ton as stated in another post. Really would like to drive a Subaru Diesel, it has been built for several years and has 50% better mileage than the gasoline version. Cannot be sold in the U.S. without Urea system that is licensed by BMW or Audi, not sure which. But Subaru says 'not in the foreseeable future'.
