I havent read the article, were on our way to a fish fry, but as an attorney (although I dont practice criminal law, so while this may be considered somewhat of a "professional opinion" I dont warrant it to be of more value then pure lay opinion) I will toss out a few "tidbits" before I leave

I do know the law places a higher value on human life then property,,,,,,,,The law doesnt like the use of deadly force if the robber is in retreat (but moreso if hes attacking) ,,,,,,,The law is concerned with replying in like kind (but that has all sorts of exceptions and loopholes),,,,,,,, The law does allow a homeowner to protect himself and family A LOT MORE IF HES INSIDE VERSUS OUTSIDE THE HOUSE,,,,,,,The law really really allows more protection (even deadly force) if its the middle of the night and dark and youre in your home,,,,,,,,,The law allows "self defense" but that has to be reasonablde ya know, if an unarmed 90 lb weakling is battering a 6 ft 220 lb football player, the footbal, dude best NOT pull out a 45 n blow him away,,,,,,,Its best if the "robber" you blow away is discovered INSIDE the house, and also NOT running towards the door!!!!!!!!

Theres lots more but I gotta go, the use of deadly force IS VERY COMPLEX LAW and even expert criminal lawyers can differ and its very FACT SENSITIVE so whatever yall do DO NOT go out and make a lifes decision based on anything said here by lay persons or even attorneys.

Im a pro police law n order conservative second amendment NRA kinda guy, but the civil libbers and extreme left have turned a lot of this upside down to where the person trying to protect himself or his family or who is defending hemself gets second guessed and goes to jail and gets sued while the robber (especially if an illegal alien) becomes the victim and is rewarded GRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR

Today's Featured Article - The Nuts and Bolts of Fasteners - Part 2 - by Curtis Von Fange. In our previous article we discussed capscrews, bolts, and nuts along with their relative hardness and thread sizes. In this segment we will finish up on our fasteners and then work with ways to keep them from loosening up in the field. Capscrews, bolts and nuts are not the only means of holding two parts together. When dealing with thinner metals like sheet tin, a long bolt and ... [Read Article]
