I think tractors have no place on the highway. They are too slow and create a road hazard. I was almost killed one time because of a tractor on the highway. I was driving in Kentucky where there was a stretch of one hill after another and I came over one hill and there was a tractor poking along at 15 mph. I came up on him so fast there was not time to stop so I was forced to pass him. As soon as I got in the other lane a Greyhound Buss came over the hill head-on at me and I barely made it back in my own lane. Had there been traffic at time I came up on him I would have had not choice but to rear end the tractor. There was no shoulder.
