I had a couple bearings go out on a 1010 Kewanee Disc, got bearings from Shoups and reassembled the gang with the old nut and end washer, it came loose after a couple rounds. I ordered a couple new spools to replace worn ones and a new dura tight end washer and reassembled, got it good and tight with a couple big pipe wrenches and worked about 15 acres with no problems. It got dark and I started working with the lights and next thing I know the nut had come off the shaft and its toast. What am I doing wrong? Any tips to keeping this thing together would be great.
