How did you calculate the fuel savings? Do you find you have loss of cut quality when running the bushhog slow? I run mine at about 1/2 to 2/3 speed a lot of the time and works well with sharp blades. First rock strike I lose the quality though.
I ask how you calc'd the fuel savings because not many people have access to the part load brake specific fuel consuption tables for their tractor, they look like a topo map. They are not the same as the full power ones. For that matter, how do you even know what your hog is using for power? Or did you work back from the fuel you're using now?
