first, thanks to Jerry/MT and phil(va) for their answers to my previous post on this subject. my TO30 was running rough and when I checked the spark with a paper clip, sure enough, it was weak, thin and yellow. So, per suggestions, I glanced at the ignition switch and noticed a wire that was bent at a severe angle. when I straightened the wire, it started running better, so I suspect a weak/worn spot in the wire. The spark is still a little thin, sort of blue-orange, not the desired fat and blue, but at least it runs well enough to do a little bush hogging! my question is: should I just replace the whole wiring harness or is there a reliable way to repair a weak section of wire? If replace, how tough a job is it? thanks in advance for all answers/suggestions.
