Lots of others that could probably give you better ideas than me, but I'll ask a few questions and suggest a few things, and probably show how dumb I am. Have you checked your plugs? I'd assume that they are showing carbon, but is there oil showing on one/all of them? How's your compression? Do you have one cylinder showing low? Are you sure you aren't pulling oil out of the air cleaner somehow - might look at the oil level in it. Have you retorqued the head and adjusted the valves since the engine was rebuilt? If you haven't, you're overdue at 100 hours (IMHO). I'd think that the problem most likely should show up in just one cylinder - you can probably figure out which one. If all show up bad, may be something external to the engine. Good luck. Please post any results of your investigations.
