1956 Farmall 300 Engine smoke

I have a 1956 Farmall 300 and recently rebuilt a tired engine. I had the head work done by a reputable machine shop, installed new pistons, rings and sleeves. After about 100 hours of lug work the motor still puts out blue smoke but does not noticeably use oil. I would have thought the rings would have set by now. I find the smoke really annoying this has been a great machine for the 32 years we've owned it, it never smoked or used oil before the motor work although getting the power back is a major plus. Any suggestions?
