AC quit working on my 886 one day while baling. Within 1/2 hour it was so hot in the cab even with the windows open, that I stopped and just took the doors off and laid them to the side. After that, it wasn't too bad. I actually finished out the year without the AC since the leak was in a line that was NOT easy to get at. May want to make sure the TA is functioning properly, and even then who knows how long it will last. Mine was working good in 2008 when I bought the tractor, and it is going in in the next week or so for a new one. Was told to plan for $4500 in expense.
