John, I looked at the parts drawing on your 784. The integral hydrostatic power steering valve has a nut on top. Remove that nut and and the steering shaft pulls up. There is a ring seal under that. Looks like they have a rebuild kit for it. Also the 4 lines going to the steering valve have orings that could be the source of your leak. Good luck.
Doesn't hurt to remove it and take it in if you want. I suppose the dash would have to come out to pull the steering shaft up. Hopefully it will drop down so you don't have to remove the dash.
