Charging Battery on Super C

I have a Super C that is 6 volt. I ran the battery down and when I went to jump start it I realized it is positive ground. Dumb question but how do you hook up the jumper cables? I have a 6/12 volt charger, how would I connect that if I wanted to charge it overnight? Is jumping from a 12 volt battery a problem if I only do it once or twice (the lights did not work when I bought the tractor so I'm not worried about that)?
