I have a IH 354 and I want to reloacte the battery to behind the seat, just above the top link mount. I want to do this for 2 reasons, 1st is so I can access the battery in order to boost the tractor or use the tractor to boost another vehicle. It is under the hood just in front of the steering wheel and in a terrible spot to get to. 2nd reason is so I can reroute the exhaust pipe up threw the hood. It is currently running back under the tractor and puts the exhaust right in your face when hooking up implements. Has any of you ever done this??? Do you see any problems or dangers with this change to battery location??
