I've just got the Super C running again after a touch control rebuild and replacing the timing gears. I'm having trouble retaining the thermostat in position, it keeps popping out when the engine is started. Evidently the original clip isn't up to the job any more. Has anyone got a good solution to this? Also one of the levers on the touch control is very stiff, is this likely to improve with use or should I check into it before I damage something?
