My M started running funny about a week ago after I ran out of gas. I thought it was a fuel problem so I cleaned all the screens and made sure the carb was clean inside. It didn't run any better so I started checking to see if it was firing, the #3 cylinder does not fire at all. The cap is a year old, I used an ohm meter and the cylinder tested good with continuity through the cap to the end of the spark plug wire. Point are opening and closing correctly. I'm wondering if it could possibly be the rotor. The #3 terminal inside the cap is blacker than the rest.
