My 460 has a 301 in it. It seems to run decent, but occasionally it throws fire back out of the carb. I just put new points in. They are gapped to 20. I can't seem to get this slight miss out of it. I used to be able to start it without using the choke period unless it was really cold outside. Now I have to use the choke even after it has been warmed up to operating temperature. Is it a spark issue? The governor I have on it only allows it to run 2000 rpm. What would the timing have to be set at 2000 vs 2640 at 22 degress btdc? I run 93 fuel in it. thanks
