There was some discussion on this a while back, but one of the points I remember being made, was that CaCl is not just an antifreeze agent, it nearly doubles the weight of the fluid in the tire. Where 50 gals water @ 8lbs /gal weighs 400lbs, the same volume of water with a mix of CaCl will weigh over 700 lbs. BTW, any time you begin mixing two chemicals, you change the boilng/freezing points of the solution...like mixing antifreeze with water will lower the freezing point until you hit 50/50, after that it starts going back up...antifreeze by itself WILL freeze at a higher temperature than antifreeze and water in 50/50 solution.
