Fluid in rear tires for extra traction

I need extra traction on my Farmall M, but I am not thrilled with using the salt solution in the rear tires (too corrosive). Does anyone have information (good or bad) as to using windshield washer fluid as an alternative? This would be cheaper than radiator antifreeze and probably less detrimental than salt water. Also, how much should go in? I estimate that one rear tire could hold 75 gallons (full), but 2/3 this amount would seem more reasonable (50 gallons would add about 400 pounds per tire).
