Automatically bumping a post with a recent contribution back to the top might be a good thing for that particular posting, but at the same it drives the most recent NEW posting to the bottom, where it quickly goes to page 2, and then on to page 3, and then nobody sees it, and no one has replied to it. I really don't think that is very fair either, and is one of the reasons I do not visit the red power forums very often.
