815 with 407 engine question

I have an old 815 combine with a 407 engine. The other day while cutting soy beans it developed a major engine vibration. It was so bad that all the glass in the cab was shaking with engine at an idle. Upon further investigation I found that the fan had hit the shroud and broke it. Engine seems to run ok except for the vibration. My question is, is there an external(or internal) crank balancer on this engine or does anyone have any other ideas what might be causing this.
