Our 1460 had the crank balancer & pulley come apart between the double pulleys & the rubber cushion that separates them. Found it before it caused any trouble, but sounded like someone was hitting the tin with a sledge hammer. Make sure it isn't a belt with a chunk out of it. Check the fan/ water pump thing in case something is getting out of shape there. Check the hydrostatic pump to see if there might be a valve hanging up.
