...can you give me some advice on my Cub? We're going to have a welded-up torque tube replaced with one that hasn't been borken & welded. While we are there, I want to change the clutch and throw-out bearing. I think that I once read that the original throw-outs are some type of fiber and that a "real" throw-out bearing is now available. Is this correct & if so, what do we need to do to change it over to what is probably a better system? Also, we have to take off the cover that the shifting lever goes through to re-allign the gears frequently. Does the end of the shifter wear like an H's does, as that's what it acts like. Whats probably wrong & whats the best fix here? Thanks in advance for all replies. (My $0.02 worth. jal-SD)
