Oil Pressure...shims in the pump etc. H Farmall

Somewhere and I cannot find it now, there was a response to an oil pressure question. Someone responded that the relief valve is in the pump and that shims were used from some purpose. Will you please post additonal details about the shims and how you do it. I have an oil pump torn down here and I did not see any...maybe cause I lost them. ????
