Farmall Steering repair

I'm working on a narrow front Super M that has nearly a full round of play in the steering wheel. I replaced the u-joint in the steering shaft and tightened up the bearings on the worm. The sector gear is tight on the steering post splines. For some reason, IHC seems to have built one of the worlds finest tractors and forgot to include a method of adjusting the steering box. Is there something I have missed? Is there parts available? If not I could use a few ideas. It borders on suicide to drive in high gear because the front wheels flop back and forth so much.
